STUDY TIPS FOR STUDENTS

It may  a hard time for us on finding some ways on how to study and getting the right track on how to grasp easily the information what we wanted. The following are the study tips.  Hope it helps.
>Find a place where you are comfortable to study with. Place is also a big consideration to study. Find a place where you are comfortable with. There are people used to study in a quiet place for the reason that they can’t concentrate on what they’re doing. Some preferred to study in a noise place with music.

>Manage your time. Make sure you do your study, 1 or 2 days ahead before the exam. Knows when to study and manage well your time. It is vital in your part to manage on it. Be organized, so that things will work fluently. Most especially if you are a busy person, doing things one at a time.

 >Study with peers. It is also a good idea to study with your peers. Sharing thoughts to one another and you make friends at the same time.

 >Make flashcards. Flash cards are oldies but still used to in the generation–-making notes and definitions more than once will etch information in your memory, and the cards are a wonderful way to deal with make and use mental assistants and subsidiary expressions.

 >Woke up at midnight. Yes! You are reading it correctly, woke up at midnight. Try to wake up at midnight and study or even just you are reviewing; you can grasp easily the information you are studying. Why? Because at that moment, People are still sleeping and it’s only you and the night owls so you can study peacefully and quietly, no noise and less destruction.

>Answer a test in your own. Try to make test on your own based on what you are studying. It may help recalling and or reviewing information on what you are already studying.

There are more possibly tips on how to study. After all it is about how you handle your study skills and where you are comfortable in handling with it and lastly, it all depends in your individual preferences, resources and time.

VIETNAMESE DAY!

VIETNAMESE DAY!

On December 16, 2015, our academy featured another interesting country. Can you guess which country it is this time? It’s not really that difficult to guess. Just by looking at the traditional clothing this pretty student is wearing, there’s no doubt we’re talking about VIETNAM!

Led by our IELTS student from Vietnam, Jeniffer, the presentation went on smoothly as she disscussed some general information about Vietnam, namely the flag, language, music, and traditional dance.

Shortly after that, Kevin, our Vietnamese marketing manager, took over to talk about the unique festivals and games that the Vietnamese people are fond of.

Everybody got even more fired up when Kevin started discussing about traditional Vietnamese food. “Nem”, “cha com”, “phong tom” cake, you name it! We can really say that Vietnamese cuisine is among the best in the world! During this time, the hosts offered the students some local Vietnamese tea and sweet lotus seeds and they loved it!
In this part of the presentation, Jeniffer showed everybody how to make “buffalo puppets” made of leaves, a common past time for both Vietnamese kids and adults. The best part is, the students got to experience making it by themselves! Teacher Lucas was there to join, too!

We can all see that the presentation was a success. Everybody learned a lot about how culturally diverse this country is, knowing that there are various ethnic groups that contribute to its uniqueness. A perfect combination of Asia and a noticeable touch of the West, Vietnam definitely is one of the most exciting places to visit!
But hold on, we’re not done yet! One of the best ways to get to know a country is through food, and there is NO WAY this cultural presentation review will finish without it!
Behind the scenes and before the presentation started, Kevin, teacher Feodda, Jeniffer, and her father, Hong Chuyen, who was also a student here studying General English, started preparing the food as soon as the last class had finished.  They looked like a perfect team! While Jeniffer and Kevin were preparing the Vietnamese spring rolls at the cafeteria, Chuyen was the main man for frying!
